Free Months Are Free, and We Are Not Going to Spin That

The company traded as Incfile before the rebrand. Its formation packages carry registered agent coverage at no extra charge, and the length depends on the tier you pick: a quarter at the bottom, a full year at the top. If your Washington company is being formed there regardless, those months are money you genuinely do not spend. We are not going to construct a complaint about something being given away, and anyone who tells you a free inclusion is secretly a trap is usually selling you the alternative.

The Catch Is a Date, Not a Price

$149 is a fair number for what it is. The difficulty is that nothing about a free period announces its own ending. It starts at the busiest moment in a company's life, when you are opening bank accounts and chasing a UBI number and reading things you have never read before, and it quietly expires somewhere in a month you will not remember. Renewal charges of this kind tend to be discovered on a statement rather than anticipated.

So if you keep Bizee, put the expiry in a calendar the day the formation completes. That advice costs you nothing and works whether or not you ever come back to this page.

Two Kinds of Priced Time

Washington happens to offer a neat contrast on exactly this theme, and it is worth a paragraph because it reframes what you are actually buying from anyone.

The state charges nothing to change your registered agent. You decide once a year whether the service earned its money. If the answer is no, Washington lets you act on that for free.
